Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has emphasized the importance of stronger collaboration between the Federal and State Governments as a vital path to Nigeria’s sustainable development.

Speaking at the official groundbreaking of the power projects at the 1,000-hectare Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park in Dadinkowa, Gombe State, the Governor noted that the initiative will create over 3,000 jobs and accelerate industrial growth across the state.

The 7.5MVA, 33/11kV Injection Substation, and a 2.5km 33kV line executed in partnership between the Gombe State Government and the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited, will connect the industrial park to the national grid.

MD/CEO of NDPHC, Engr Jennifer Adighije (FNSE, FCIML, FNIEEE) reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to supporting Governor Yahaya’s vision of energy security and industrialization that will unlock socio-economic growth and prosperity for the people of Gombe State.

Executive Director, Networks, NDPHC, Engr. Bello Babayo Bello (FNSE), further commended the Governor’s foresight, describing the project as a model for sustainable power and industrial development through strategic partnership.

Once completed, the project will supply reliable electricity to the industrial park and surrounding communities, enhancing productivity, creating jobs, and improving livelihoods.
